Good to hear a voice of reason from someone in the weather community. I feel like many meteorologists feel as you do but, as you point out, they are not really able to voice an opinion because of who they work for. I certainly don't have the scientific knowledge you have but I do know we have had temperature cycles for many, many years. Keep up the good work of educating the public and encouraging people to research and think for themselves.

Kristine, I have been wondering where you were. I missed newscasts during the first part of May so did not see your farewell. I feel a loss. You are such a classy lady and I am so pleased to hear about your books...God will lead you into wonderful things.

Good luck and God Bless You,
Karen

I've enjoyed your reporting over the years and was sorry to see you leave the air. I wasn't sure what happened - some personal issue or dispute with the station - but I'm glad to see it was for someting you wanted to do. All the best!

Hi Kristine. Thanks for the forecast. I really miss your weather knowledge and your presence on TV. Perhaps you could put a short weather blurb on twitter once in a while too. Have a great summer!

Being from Kansas I would have to vote for tornado's. I have a 6 year old that is very afraid of them, and 2 others that are becoming afraid of them.

I'd vote for something about tornadoes. My 10 year old utterly freaks out every time there is a possibility of tornadoes. I try to help her understand that the chances of getting hit by a tornado is very remote, but that doesn't help her mind. Especially when the sirens are going off and someone is on the tv hyping up the bad weather. :-)
